So we are officially heading into a new generation of Pokemon with a new Pokemon hinted at, the one I made a quick mock up of. I want to hear what you guys have to say about this all! What are your hopes, expectations, and speculations?
It is my belief is that this region is set in Hawaii. Why you ask? Especially when there is all the buzz about the hotel looking like one in Singapore or Spain being connected to France (Kalos)? Well its a tiny little hint in once of the concept arts. In it you can clearly see a Hawaii license plate on the pickup. It could be nothing, but the clearly tropical theme, all the cars, the license plate, the strange souvenir that looks like a tikki in XY, and the alleged code name Pokemon Rainbow (Hawaii is the Rainbow State), plus the strong connection Hawaii has with Japan it would really make sense.

OVER: Fakemon Contest
Ok so, since I had a great response for my interest probe on doing a contest, here it is! So I had quite a few ideas for a contest, but in honor of coming gen 7's setting in Alola (aka Hawaii) I thought of a fitting contest that also appeales to my love of the sea. Hopefully more than 3 people will enter so the prizes won't be trivialized ha. Ok so here is the challenge:
Design a Fakemon around coral reefs! This could be species that live on reefs (fish, turtles, shrimp, crabs, encrusting algae, the coral themselves, literally anything that is on the reef!), the coral rock the reef grows, the fact that reefs are boat hazards, hey maybe even

Sorry I haven't been very active lately. Between travel, a broken computer, and a new project I've been super busy. Hopefully things will be calming down in the coming weeks and a fixed computer means I can get back to drawing and stuff. My question to you is, would you rather wait for fully inked designs once in a while, or would you like me to upload all the sketches I do and occasionally when I have time see one or more of them inked? I sketch out full designs far more often than I have time to ink, so I could really up the activity here if I didn't worry about inking them all. Thoughts? Opinions?
New sun and moon trailers, impressions?
So the trailers finally came and for once new info! We got starters, we got a new regions, we got new legendaries, and we got the release date! What an update today was. So I'm curious what you all, my watchers, think of the new info. Do you have a favorite starter? Do you like the region? What about the version you want now that we know the legendaries? Any speculation?
I personally love the little owl starter. As far as version, probably Sun for that sweet white lion zord haha. Love the look of the new region and hoping for a bunch more islands.

I'd love to hear about your experience with Pokemon. What was your first game? What was your first starter? What was your first level 100? What was your first shiny?(gyarados doesn't count)
Pokemon has been in my life since I can remember honestly. I actually came to the series via my brother. He was always playing Red and I would watch. Soon after I started to watch the anime and that was my major link to the series as a kid. I remember buying toys and VHS tapes and watching the anime for the hour of tv I was allowed daily. The biggest thing that drew me in was my love of animals. A

i can't see the whole thing being based off hawaii solely, i just don't think there's enough to hawaii to fill a whole game, not enough diversity, BUT i'm definitely getting a hawaii/island vibe from it, the motel looking building, the cars, the sun and moon title, rainbow etc etc.
one interesting thing i was reading is that there is a type of woodpecker found in Hispaniola, so i thought maybe it's a region based ff islands in general, maybe some philipennes, hawaii, cuba, jamaica, canary island, etc, etc. maybe just built p of many different islands.
idk i'm definitely into it and can't wait to see more!!!
